Privacy Choices

Manage your myDailyTasks privacy choices

Updated July 12, 2026

Delete App Content

Delete tasks, rituals, goals, and related planner content from inside the app. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletions sync through your iCloud account to other devices signed in with the same Apple Account.

iCloud Sync And Local Storage

Manage iCloud for myDailyTasks in your device settings. If iCloud is unavailable when the app opens, your plan can remain available on that device.

Notifications

Daily summary reminders, task-time reminders, and important-date reminders are optional. You can change reminder settings in the app or disable notifications for myDailyTasks in Apple system settings.

Location And Weather

The Daily Planning weather preview is optional. Turn it off in the app or change myDailyTasks location access in Apple system settings to stop location-based weather requests.

Spotlight, Shortcuts, Widgets, Live Activities, And Focus

Search, shortcuts, widgets, Live Activities, and Focus can show task information outside the main app. Manage what appears through myDailyTasks and your device settings.

Backup Services

Backup exports are optional. If you choose an external backup provider, review the destination and its privacy terms. Stop future exports by choosing a different storage option in the app.

App Lock

App Lock can be disabled in app settings. Biometric verification is handled by Apple on the device and is not available to myDailyTasks.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account. Use Apple system settings or the App Store subscription management flow to cancel, renew, or review subscription status.

Support Requests

When contacting support, include only the details needed to diagnose the issue, such as device type, OS version, app version, and a short description. Avoid sending sensitive task content unless it is necessary for the support request.
