Unfinished work

Automatic Carryover

Move open tasks forward after a chosen time, with priority offsets, tag-aware scheduling, away-period skips, and optional priority changes.

What it supports

  • Settings can choose the carryover move time and separate day offsets for A, B, and C priority tasks.
  • If you choose, tasks that keep moving forward can gradually receive a higher priority.
  • Tag rules can align moved tasks to weekdays or weekends, and Calendar Rules away periods can push destinations farther forward.

Common questions about Automatic Carryover

How does automatic task carryover work?

After a configured move time, open tasks can move to a later date using separate day offsets for A, B, and C priorities. Repeatedly carried tasks can also be promoted to a higher priority.

Does carryover respect weekdays and weekends?

Yes. Tag schedules can keep work on weekdays and other tasks on weekends or any day, while Calendar Rules can move tasks beyond an away period.
