Time blocking

Daily Planning Timeline

Daily Planning Timeline is a time-blocking view in myDailyTasks that turns open activities into a visible half-hour schedule on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

What it supports

  • The Daily Planning view shows configurable half-hour slots for the selected day and lets the same week be changed from the planning header.
  • Unscheduled activities sit in a tray, can be dragged into a time slot, and can be returned to the queue when the schedule changes.
  • Empty slots can create appointments or meetings with duration and recurrence, while Work Day autofill schedules open Work-tagged tasks inside the configured work range.
  • Meal chips for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snack can be dragged into the day without creating saved tasks first.
  • Choose whether to show a local weather preview while planning your day.
